Hiking Mount Batur

The hike will commence before dawn, beneath a sky brimming with countless stars. As you make your way safely to the summit, you’ll be treated to the sight of the sky shifting from deep purple to a dazzling array of colors like sapphire blue, burnt orange, and vibrant pink as the sun rises over the eastern ocean.

Once daylight breaks, you’ll be greeted with incredible panoramic photo opportunities of the volcanic valley and stunning views of sacred Mt. Agung, Mount Abang, and even Mount Rinjani in Lombok. A refreshing breakfast, along with coffee, tea, and water, will energize you for the journey back down the mountain.

During your descent, you’ll observe recent lava flows and the captivating volcanic landscape. The trek offers beautiful scenery throughout, including views of the crater lake, black lava fields, and the lush flora and fauna of the Balinese countryside. Along the way, you’ll meet local villagers and learn about their history and culture from both the villagers and your English-speaking guide.
